The MI JOURNAL is produced by Mindscape Industries clients with some in house support staff to share Mindscape Industries news, applicable information and features along with biographies, updates and just straight out fun stories and articles.

Our team behind The Mindscape Journal presents our latest Issue, #25, covering the month of July. We begin with an exciting announcement for two summer clubs underway. We’re confidant you’ll be interested in one, perhaps both, read for the details. Next, as it’s the season of backyard barbecue and grilling we have an entire page dedicated to healthy grilling along with a tasty recipe to try on the grill. Now we have our packed Art, Culture and Community page where we recognize those celebrating birthdays within our team along with a handful of celebrities. Then we offer a look at a couple of big events hitting Connecticut, this you won’t want to miss! Our last page begins with an interview with our own, Dianne S. We then look at some of the cool things going on in the shop, the crew is always busy. Concluding this issue is a sports report from John M. We are pleased to bring you our latest Mindscape Journal, Issue 24 for the month of June. The journal opens a special announcement and invitation to join us for a day of free food and entertainment at Camp Harkness in Waterford, CT. Then we move to our monthly tip of healthy eating with an article dedicated to summertime nutrition. This is accompanied by a great recipe for a summer squash and basil pasta dish. Then we celebrate the June birthday’s within our team here at Mindscape while recognizing some celebrity birthdays. We have a couple of community events to announce, check these as they are time sensitive! On page three, John M. gives us a little bio on Mindscape’s Justina E. after having interviewed her. A quick welcome is extended to new staff. John R. has written an article highlighting the unique work taking place in the shop. Our talented team at The Mindscape Journal is pleased to present Issue 23 for the month of May. Our journalist begin with a very thorough, specific and historical piece discussing Memorial Day. Our team opens the 21st edition of The Mindscape Journal with a welcome look into spring. With that spring mindset, our ceramics department is busy creating a variety of pieces reflect the approaching season and of course with spring comes Easter. Then we bring you another article for eating well targeted towards those with a TBI, but good for all. With Saint Patrick’s Day upon us, well a recipe for corned beef and cabbage of course. We then recognize some March birthdays within our team to a few celebrities as well. A targeted look at a local community event followed up with a slightly different look at the history of Saint Patrick’s Day. Closing out the newsletter on page four; A little biography putting our job coach, Christine, in the spot light. Then an update on our always busy shop crew, you must read what they’re working on. Finally, with baseball season approaching we have a rundown of the new “Pace of Play” rules, what they are and why there in place. We start this issue with a quick look back at the Mindscape Industries Christmas party at our Thomaston, CT center. Some photos and recap to be shared. This issue of the Mindscape Journal begins with a holiday greeting and peek at what we've been doing in our studio. The holidays are bright and festive at Mindscape. In keeping with our journal's structure, the next section has an article discussing holiday eating and how to enjoy without overdoing it thus leading to weight gain tough to lose. Now, as it is the holiday season, why not try a recipe for some snowflake cookies that make fun ornaments too. Then a list recognizing the birthdays of those at Mindscape as well as celebrity birthdays this month. A fun history of the candy cane that leads into a look at one unique holiday themed activity in Connecticut in particular that must be experienced to be appreciated. Our team has returned once again to put their talents to work in order to publish Issue 17 of the Mindscape Journal. Our writers have compiled four pages which include some exciting special announcements involving our artists and an art show. Then in keeping with our theme of good health and diet, our researchers put together a thorough review of "Clean Eating" and how to achieve this along with an overview of clean eating and how it benefits one's health. Of course this is accompanied by a healthy recipe which is also great on a cold day. Then we have our look at the calendar, who's having a birthday and local events. An interesting piece on the history of Thanksgiving, with some facts you may be surprised with, follows. Finally, a packed page four closes out the issue by interviewing one our experienced and gifted job coaches, a synopsis of what's happening in the shop and then a quick look at college basketball schedules. As with all, this is another packed issue.
